Hi All, I know that visa numbers are allocated per country basis (7% or so) but I would like to know how are the visa numbers allocated to EB1 / EB2 & EB3 Categories within a country.
For Ex: If Country A has 1000 Visa Numbers for a fiscal year how does USCIS divide them between EB1 / EB2 / EB3

I understand that to file 485, all applicants need to be in the US.
Do the dependents/spouse need to be present in the US to file the EAD later (after we get the 485 receipt) ?

I have used my Canadian PR card for transit thru the UK while on AP. It was quite some time back though. The gate agent took a while to go thru my docs, but was satisfied and was allowed to board both ways. The verification obviously took a bit longer on the way back to the US, but nothing unusual. If I remember well, I did carry a copy of the transit rules with me in case there was any issue. My guess is you should be fine.

Here's a link with steps for how to blend two images. You have to use a tripod and take them one after the other. Waiting until later would not have worked as the cloud formation would change. It's two exposures, one for the ground/dark part of the image and one for the sky. Try it by going out one evening and taking shots of a sunset and using one of the techniques in the link. One thing I learned at a Photoshop seminar I attended this week is not to merge the layers but under the Layers menu, choose Merge visible. Merging layers causes color loss/deterioration.

I have filed for Advance parole the second time, got it approved and the documents in hand in about 4 weeks.
The dates can be tentative, put in a date when you think you might travel, its not hard and fast so guesstimate.
The list of docs to be sent with your AP form are :
� Filled in form I-131
� Check
� 2 Photographs
� Copy of I-485 receipt notice
� Copy of previous approved advance parole document(if any)
� Copy of passport pages
� Copy of drivers license

Are you sure of this..This is very important for my wife. Her F1-OPT begins in October and I feel that the I-485 EAD may not come till then. She also has a job offer to start in october so we are thinking that it should be ok to start working on F1 OPT till we get our 485-EAD and eventually shift

I started my new job 5 months after I applied 485. Unfortunately I didn't have a choice then. That was one of the reasons I didn't file AC21. My tactic has been silently waiting for green card. With the April 09 visa bulletin I might have to wait for waay to long. I hope I won't receive an RFE for employment.

When I started to work in usa I was working for an employer in NJ after an year I got a better job offer and started to work for another employer(for whom I have been working for last 2 years).
Last Month I applied for my I140 with current employer work experience letter and co-worker letter (of my ex-employer in NJ). Now that I have an RFE for my I140 requesting me to send employer experience letter of my ex-employer. When I called up my ex-employer he was rude to me and firmly denied to provide any letter and hanged up the phone. Due to this RFE I am not able to proceed with my I485. Please let me know how to proceed...Thanking you all in advance.
