Hi guys,
I am new to this forum. I am a recruiter and I have a candidate for a position in the US who is close to getting an offer. Here is my situation, any help would be appreciated.
Candidate is a Canadian Citizen currently in the US working with TN (Nafta Visa)
He has renewed his TN 4 times.
He is now close to receiving an offer from my client, but his current company just filed his petition for a H1B visa.
Not sure what is best for him and new employer. Candidate just received an email from his HR that he can't travel during petition, but would the new job, he will need to go to Israel for training. Can he make a request to his current employer to withdraw his petition once he decides to change companies in order to do TN visa again?
Any help would me much appreciated.

Calling all WA state chapter member to attend this meeting. We need to start working together and start talking to lawmakers. If nobody hears us, they will not know how to support us in the next immigration bill that is being crafted.

You are good till the end of your original H1 regardless of the outcome of the extension... the catch is, you have to maintain H1 status.. meaning get paid, no benching etc.,

Hi everyone
started following IV after my friend told me about it. got some useful info and really admire the time members put to answer queries. this is my post and I hope I get some info here. my hubby is looking to relocate to south FL so we both can live and work in same place. he did get couple offers - one from a insurance firm and another from a software company - Citrix. looks like first one will only do EB-3 although the position requires 5+ years exp. does anyone know if Citrix does GC under EB-2 ?

1) So does it mean, if we apply for fresh h1 and once it's approved, we can stay for 3 years initially irrespective of L1 stay, for my case its' 13 months ? If not, how L1 stay affects initial h1 approval timings ?
2) If I apply for h1, let say in June'10, and once it's approved what could/should be my joining date with new employer ?

it's more Marketing rubbish..
certainly it'll be a better 6MP image than before, but it won't have the pure resolution of a 1Ds or 14N.
Dynamic Range will be nice, but doesn't tip it over the edge. Why don't they go bigger in MP? One might ask.... I think they're finding it tough.. Somehow Canon has nailed it. Kodak couldn't.
Interesting times ahead!!

Right now, your Silverlight 2 project is set as your startup project. Set your Web Site as the startup project with the Loading_ImagesTutorial.html file as your startup page.
That should get everything working properly :)
