I am really looking forward to Renoise 1.5 final. I hope it takes them less time to release than between the last two releases. Looks really spiffy, though! Now if only it supported Audio Units...
Nectarine is great. I miss the days of the old Hornet Mod Archive. I still have both Archive one and two on cd here though.
Anyhow, VST's are supported under Renoise. Which is great! However, I am having some bug issues on OS X with using VST's. I am sure these will be sorted out in due time. The mac version is coming along nicely.

You can currently buy a Refub for $249 from ATT online store... so this is probably a bad time to sell.
I think only a few east coast stores ever had them, and you were required to activate in store to prevent re-selling.

okay, so i get an error from folding on my mac pro. looking at the log file, it gets done folding, or at 99%, and then it gets an error, and quits that work unit and downloads another unit, and starts with that one.
anyone ever run into this before?
also, i have 2 different Leopard installations on 2 different hard drives in the mac. would this possibly mess something up?

I would like to create a simple iphone app for my sports team, all it would need to include is:
-twitter feed
-youtube feed
-rss news feed from the main site
-schedule
-map
Am I right in thinking that the only software I need is xcode 4 and a developers license to get the app into the app store?
I have some experience in coding, mainly HTML. From the screenshots of xcode 4, it looks similar to dreamweaver in that you can work in a GUI(add table by clicking on the table button) or by coding it.
Is it that simple, or am I getting it wrong?
Also, if I buy a developers license for a year, what happens after that year? Does the app stay in the store, but I cannot update it, or does it disappear from the app store?

Simple answer - No we can't.
Longer answer - Only you know how many games you will be wanting to install on XP, similar to the above poster, I only play one game which requires Windows, so I set mine to 40GB, which was enough for OS and the game.
One piece of advice I would give you is to partition your drive into 3, one for Mac OS, one for Windows and a third 'spare' partition. THat way if you find yourself running out of space on either Mac or Windows you can format the 'spare' partition appropriately, or even split the spare into two.

I don't know what I'll do--wait for the video stream, or watch the text feed feed. I do miss the days of the live stream, when you were forced to let the suspense mount in real-time. But trying to recreate that suspense during the dry iTunes-market-share-pie-chart extravaganza just may force me to hit the FF button. And muck it up somehow.
Besides, it's not the same when it's live, and you know you are finding out at the same time as everybody else.

Hello everyone.
I've been thinking a lot about getting either an iPad 2 or an iPhone 4. Iv'e saved a lot of money, and I really want to spend some of them, on one of these devices, but I just don't know which one to get. So just wanted to hear, if anyone out there had the same problem?
I want the iPad cause want a very portable device, for example on holidays etc. and to do some easy school tasks.
the other way around, I would like to get a new phone, i'm just scared of loosing it on the floor. I've got an old sony ericsson phone, it get's the job done, and that's it, but it's durable.
Anyone with some advice?

How do you use the knife part, and how does it not slice your mouth open?
I suppose the knife part is on the side and I guess you just have to be careful not to cut the side of your mouth open. I doubt its that sharp tho. I'm yet to use or to find one of these in the wild.

Those settings should certainly stick. Is this running the latest 10.6 release? (10.6.5)

Well, I think this (http://www.info.apple.com/usen/cip/pdf/pbg4/pbg4_15fw800_apx.pdf) applies. It's for earlier PowerBooks but hopefully it's still the same. I haven't played with a newer PowerBook to be able to check this ( :o ). They're instructions on how to install an AirPort card but ti's pretty easy to use them to work out if your is installed correctly, hopefully. :)
